We wish our guests’ stays are comfortable and enjoyable for all so please take the time to read through these booking terms and conditions. These apply to any reservation you make for the holiday properties listed on our website and through our independent agencies. By making a booking with us, you confirm that you accept these terms and conditions and agree to comply with them fully. You must notify all guests of these booking conditions before the holiday begins as they apply to them. Our role
We own all the properties advertised on our website and so we reserve the right to refuse any booking in accordance to these conditions. Ways Away do not accept any liability for any defects or unavailability of your chosen property or any other problems with your holiday.

Your use of our properties
Our properties are available to let for personal, non-commercial use only. You may not offer for resale any booking for any of our properties without our written permission. If you wish to transfer your holiday to someone else please see the following section.

Property descriptions and pricing
We make every effort to ensure that the descriptions, rental costs and availability of our properties on our website are accurate, complete and routinely updated. All our descriptions include details of the property, its amenities, availability, photos and any possible accreditations such as star ratings. If we realise we have made a mistake we will rectify it as soon as possible on our website. We do not accept responsibility for any changes or closures to the local amenities or attractions mentioned any property description.

Prices shown on our website are for the whole property and not per person, and so it is your responsibility to check the total price of your stay before completing the booking process.

Making a booking
To be eligible to make a booking through our website or through our independent agencies you must:

· be 18 years of age or over

· provide your real name, phone number, email address and other requested financial information

· possess a valid payment method such as a debit or credit card

· The maximum holiday length for any booking is 28 nights

· The minimum holiday length for any booking is 3 nights

Once a booking has been processed and availability confirmed, you will receive an on-screen acknowledgement and a payment receipt sent to the email address provided. In due course we will send you a confirmation of your booking along with other important details such as key collection, parking and directions. When you receive your booking confirmation, make sure to check all the details are accurate and make a note of payments received and what may still be due.

Fees, charges and payment
The fees and charges stated on our website may change from time to time and, unless state otherwise, are in pounds sterling and include VAT, where applicable.

A deposit payment is due at the time of booking and the remaining balance will be due 8 weeks before arrival. Payment will be automatically taken on the required date using the card details provided at the time of booking. Bookings made less than 8 weeks before arrival will require the payment in full at the time of booking.

Please be aware that the booking fee is non-refundable once your booking has been confirmed.

Cancel or transfer a booking
Please check that all the details stated in your booking confirmation are accurate and notify as soon as possible if you believe there been an error, using the details above.

If you wish to make a change to an existing, confirmed booking, we must be notified in writing either by post or by email. If you wish to change your dates and it results in a higher price, the remaining balance will be added to the final total and must be paid 8 weeks before arrival or if your new arrival date is in less than 8 weeks you must pay the balance in full.

If you do not wish to reschedule your stay, you may incur a cancellation fee. Please see the table below for an explanation of our cancellation charges.

In the event that you wish to cut short your stay for whatever reason, you will not be issued a refund.

If we cancel or transfer your booking
Ways Away reserve the right to cancel your booking at any point if:

· There are any health and safety or quality-related issues with your property

· We discover you do not meet the above stated booking criteria.

· You or your guests have breached these T&C’s.

Cancellations due to Covid-19 Government restrictions: If you are unable to stay in your chosen property due to the Government restrictions or public health measures, you have three options available to you:

· You may transfer your booking to new dates, subject to availability.

· You may request a voucher to the value of the monies paid which will be valid for 12 months and can be redeemed against a future booking.

· You may request a refund for the amount paid.

Your responsibilities
By making a booking you agree that all the information you provide us in relation to your holiday is true, accurate, current and complete. If any of your contact details change such as an email address, you must update us in reasonable time.

You must not allow more people to stay in the property than has been agreed in your original booking. All our properties are non-smoking.

You also agree that:

· The property will be used solely for the purpose of a holiday by you and your guests.

· You and your guests will show consideration and respect for the property and any neighbours, by refraining from anti-social and illegal behaviour.

· You and your guests will not abuse any amenities or facilities provided at the property and will comply with any health and safety, policies or operation instructions.

· You and your guests will keep the property and all its furniture, utensils, equipment, fixtures and fittings in the same condition as which you found them at the start of your stay.

· You will reimburse all costs incurred as a result of any damage or breakage in the property whether caused by you, a member of your party or any dogs.

· Each time you leave the property you will ensure all doors and windows are locked and any electrical appliances are switched off to prevent a fire or burglary.

In the event that you or any of your guests fails to comply with the points above, we reserve the right to instruct you and your guests to vacate the property early.

Our responsibilities
We strive to give our guests as much information as possible about their chosen property before they confirm their stay. We promise to notify you as soon as possible if there have been any changes to the property and its amenities. We will ensure that your property will be clean and available during your selected dates. We also promise to respond to any queries, complaints or problems which may arise during your stay and do our best to resolve them.

We have provided information on each property’s page regarding accessibility however please be aware that some properties will not be suitable for those with limited mobility. We provide our guests with up to date property photos but if you need more information you can contact us at any time. Please note: all our Dartmouth properties are accessed by steps and Merchant’s Rise and Merchant’s Rest feature steep, internal staircases.

Arrival and departure
You can access your chosen property anytime from 3pm on the day of arrival. We politely request that you vacate the property by 10am on the day of departure. Details regarding directions, key safe and parking will be included in your confirmation correspondence.

Dogs
Dogs are only allowed at the properties where it has been expressly stated in the description. If you take a dog to a property that does not allow them, or exceed the stated number or size, we reserve the right to charge an additional cleaning fee at the end of your stay. You must not allow dogs on the beds or furniture within the property and they must not be left alone in the property at any point. The dog charge is £10.00 per night.

Insurance
We recommend that all our guests take out holiday insurance to cover any unexpected damages or cancellations during their stay with us.

Our liability
Ways Away shall not be liable for any loss or damage to your personal belongings and vehicles; anything left at the property is entirely at your and your guests’ own risk. Moreover, we will not accept any liability for any loss, damage or injury to you or your guests during your stay except if it has been caused by our own negligence.

Complaints
If you are staying at one of our properties and you wish to make a complaint, please contact us as soon as possible using the contact details stated above and we will endeavour to rectify any issue.

Changes to these booking conditions
We may make changes to these booking conditions at any time and will post the updated terms on to our website.
