The Lookout is a penthouse apartment with scenic views over the River Dart and is only a few minutes’ walk from Dartmouth’s town centre. It is comfortable and spacious boasting an envious balcony and off-road parking. With two bedrooms and two bathrooms, this makes a great apartment for a family or two couples.

The kitchen is well-equipped with an electric oven, hob, washer dryer, dishwasher and a fridge freezer. It also has a microwave, kettle and a toaster. The cupboards and drawers are stocked with a range of utensils for those wishing to stay in and cook. The dining space boasts a view of Dartmouth town and has a wooden dining table with seating for four.

Meanwhile the comfortable living space features a modern gas fireplace, a glass balcony and a flatscreen smart TV with Freeview. There is also a sofa, two cosy chairs and a wooden coffee table.

Master Bedroom

The Lookout has two bedrooms. The first is a master bedroom with a king-size bed, which can turn into a twin, and enjoys glorious views over Dartmouth and the Dart estuary. Located in the room is a comfortable lounge area with a wicker sofa and vanity desk, and a flatscreen TV with Freeview. The master bedroom also has an en-suite shower room with a shower cubicle, WC and wash basin.

Second Bedroom

The second bedroom is furnished with a super king-size zip and link bed which can become a twin room upon request. This room is furnished with beside cabinets complete with lamps, a chest of drawers and a flatscreen TV with Freeview and a DVD player.

Family Bathroom

The Lookout at Lauriston House has an additional spacious family bathroom with a large Jacuzzi bath with shower over, a wash basin and WC.

Exterior / Parking

The Lookout also benefits from off-road parking for one car. When staying here one can easily explore Dartmouth via a small lane which leads guests down towards the town’s award-winning restaurants, quaint cafes and colourful shops.

Flat itself is very spacious, light, with amazing views. The views and 2 bedrooms are the best selling points about the apartment. Mattresses are comfortable, so is the sofa. Kitchen is fully equipped (although there was only 2 tea spoons and no ladle). Heating is powerful and place feels cosy. The management company is great - they popped round within 2 mins and were very helpful. Flat is spotlessly clean. Shampoos and gels provided.

Dartmouth is a renowned coastal town on the River Dart with a strong naval background. It has charming cobbled streets, stylish independent boutiques alongside household name brands, many galleries, and cosy cafes and restaurants serving local produce.

When staying at Lauriston House one can easily explore the beauty of the South Devon coastline and visit the popular town of Salcombe, the long sandy beaches of Blackpool Sands and Bigbury on Sea, and visit local historic attractions such as Dartmouth Castle.
