Overview
Lauriston House is our largest property in Dartmouth, on Mount Boone above the town’s centre. This property has the feel of a happy family home with large, open spaces for entertaining or relaxing, and four, large double bedrooms. It has stunning views over the River Dart from the front aspect and overlooks the magnificent Royal Naval College from the rear.

Lauriston House is available for week-long stays all year
round checking in on a Friday. During the Autumn/Winter months, we also
offer long weekend breaks - perfect for family get togethers, weekend
celebrations or time to rest and relax.
Kitchen
The kitchen is luxurious, modern and designed to be open planned with a large, central island with stone worksurface. The kitchen has a homely and sophisticated feel for those wishing to cook during their stay.
It is fully fitted with a Neff electric double oven and an electric hob alongside a dishwasher and fridge-freezer. It is equipped with a microwave, kettle, toaster and a coffee machine whilst the cupboards and drawers are stocked with a range of essential crockery and utensils.
The dining table can seat up to ten guests and the cosy snug area, next to the kitchen, has a large, flat screen TV for casual lounging.
Living Space
The spacious hallway opens up into the comfortable family sitting room, furnished with four comfy sofas sofa, flatscreen television and an open fireplace for fires in the winter. It is the perfect spot to enjoy some quiet escapism with a book or your favourite film during your stay.
From the hallway, the staircase will take you to a huge landing area with a double sofa bed.
Master Bedroom
Lauriston House’s master bedroom is light and comfortably furnished to a high standard. It has a 6ft super king bed which can be turned in twin beds if needed, fitted wardrobe, dressing table with mirror and two bedside cabinets with lamps. The master bedroom also benefits from a modern, en-suite bathroom with a wash basin, WC, heated towel rail, shaver point, bath and separate walk-in shower.
Family Bathroom
The modern family bathroom is spacious with a large bath with shower, WC, basin and heated towel rail.
Exterior / Parking
Lauriston House has a fantastic outdoor, heated swimming pool which overlooks the garden and has enviable views over the River Dart. The garden is level and has areas of shade, perfect for al fresco dining and playing children in the summer sunshine. At the bottom of the garden is a wooden gate which opens onto a quiet but steep lane to take you down into the town.
Merchant's Rest
Sleeps 4. Merchant's Rest is located in the same building as Merchant's Rise. It has been tastefully restored and makes a great base to explore Dartmouth and the surrounding area.
