Overview

Castle Mews is located on a quiet street, opposite a church, within the heart of the coastal town of Dartmouth, South Devon. It has been tastefully renovated with modern amenities, a log burner, polished wooden finishes and glass balustrades. It is a cosy and modern three-bedroom property with plenty of character and space, making it suitable for a group of friends or a family with older children.

Kitchen

The kitchen is discretely tucked away and has been designed in a country-style with glossy, stone work surfaces, creating a homely and sophisticated feel for those wishing to cook during their stay. There is an electric double oven with integrated grill and electric hob alongside a dishwasher and fridge-freezer. It is fully equipped with a microwave, kettle, toaster and a coffee machine whilst the cupboards and drawers are stocked with a range of nautical crockery and utensils.

Living space

The living space benefits from a double height aspect and characterful wooden beams. One can relax in the warmth created by the statement log burner as they watch television on the internet-enabled TV with Freeview. There is also a comfortable two-person sofa and co-ordinating chairs, in additional to a dining table which can seat six.

Mezzanine

Enjoy a glass of prosecco whilst lounging on our luxurious bean bags and comfortable two-person sofa on our modern mezzanine, enclosed by a glass balustrade.

Master Bedroom

Castle Mews’ master bedroom is cosy, furnished with a double bed, integrated chest of drawers, dressing table with mirror and two bedside cabinets with lamps. This bedroom also benefits from a modern en-suite bathroom with wash basin, WC, heated towel rail, shaver point and a bath with shower overhead.

Second Bedroom

The second bedroom is located at the front of the property and has views overlooking the nearby church. It has a double bed, two bedside cabinets with lamps, mirror and a free-standing wardrobe.

Utility Room

On the lower ground floor, and accessible via a set of steep steps, is a ultility room which has been fitted with a sink and a comfortable sofa. An iron, ironing board and vacuum cleaner are also provided.

Family bathroom

It has a large en-suite bathroom providing plenty of space for washing and drying, and has a large bath, shower overhead, heated towel rail, WC and washbasin. There is also a small utility space and additional storage.

 

Exterior / Parking

Situated opposite the church, 1 Castle Mews is on a quiet side street behind Dartmouth’s central quay. This property is positioned within easy access to Dartmouth’s wonderful restaurants and independent boutiques. 1 Castle Mews does not have private parking at the property however parking is available and can be shared at The Lookout at Lauriston. Additional parking can also be found closer to the property in Mayors Avenue car park.

This is three level property which is accessible via a series of steps which means it is not suitable for those with limited mobility. Inside the property there are three sets of steep and somewhat narrow staircases with glass balustrades. Due to this, is not equipped for young children and dogs are not permitted.
